Born January 3, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas

Legendary gambler and professional pool player

Four times World Pocket Billiard Champion

Was in “The Color of Money” starring Paul Newman and Tom Cruise

Promoted 19 tournaments. Made 11 instructional tapes

Wrote two books

Defeated virtually every great player for money

Has played in many Accu-Stats videos and does commentary for them

Has done numerous commentaries seen on ESPN and The Billiard Channel

Writes a monthly article for Inside Pool Magazine

Still competes and does exhibitions, clinics, private lessons, and gambling matches

Lives in Columbia, South Carolina with two spoiled teenagers, a long suffering wife and a cantankerous Maine Coon Cat
