2011 Marked the beginning of the OnePocket.org player sponsorship program, which we kicked off with an entry spot in to the May, 2011 US Open One Pocket, where John Brumback was our sponsored player. For the 2012 Derby City Classic, OnePocket.org is proud to sponsor a trio of some of our longest time members, Bruce 'Ghost' Perry in the One Pocket division, and Hall of Fame Banks legend Freddy 'The Beard' Bentivegna, along with OnePocket.org founder Steve Booth, who will both be representing OnePocket.org in the Banks division.

John is of course recognized as one of the most dominant Bank champions of our time, yet he also possesses a solid all around game, with many different tournament wins to his credit, including the 2009 Derby City Classic All-Around Championship against hundreds of the greatest players from around the world. He carries himself like a gentleman, yet he is a fun guy to be around, and he always seems to give the proverbial 110% effort at the table -- all qualities that made him an ideal choice for our first player sponsorship.
