This is a beautifully restored table that is an example from the golden age of billiards.
This 5'x 10' carom table was in Novato Billiards for many years and was immortalized by Robert Byrne in his billiard bible "The Standard Book of Pool and Billiards".
This table is an "Arcade". Built by Brunswick-Balke-Collender circa 1910.
It is a 6 legged table that has a "field" of ribbon mahogany, highlighted by various inlays of ebony, holly, and others. 100's of Mother-of-Pearl highlights make this table shine.
It has a very dynamic Brazilian Rosewood rail system with round Mother-of-Pearl sights.
The slate is a 3 piece, 1 ½" doweled slate. Outside of the new cushions this table is all origainal.
A beautiful piece for furniture for anyone's home, it can be altered to pool or snooker or
Cut down to a 4.5'x 9' pool table which is an optical delight.
