Alright, our drill contest stuff is too easy for you guys. Let's try something different here on 1p.org
http://CueTable.com/P/?@4AYOe3PHXB4UYOe4UXQk2UbmU1UAfj1UbHc3Uchrzc3kHXB4kbSM4kalP3kbeo1kREKzc1uCUT@
I would award $50 tiger gift certificate for the first person who videotape himself shooting this shot and upload the footage to Google Video or YouTube.com. This offer is good for a month and valid to OnePocket.org forum member only. Put CueTable OnePocket.org shot contest in the video tag.
I will put up another shot after someone has done this one. Any suggestions and comments welcome!
Cheers

I tried this a bunch of times tonight. I actually did make it a couple of times; a few others I either buckled it or didn't hit it hard enough to find out if it would go. Once, it went down to the far end and reversed right back into the other guy's pocket, a couple of times I scratched, and many times if anyone had been watching, they would have had no idea what I was trying to do :)
What I learned is, it takes somewhere between a half ball hit or a 3/4 hit on the object ball (after you kick off the rail) -- a fuller hit than I would have thought -- and you have to hit it hard. I placed the ball just outside the jaws of the pocket about an inch off the rail -- kind of near the center of the pocket, but just out of the jaws. I placed the cue ball around the opposite second diamond, but comfortably off the rail to enable a hard stroke.

In this shot, both the CB and OB will get a lot of contact induced spin. The spin will show clearly when either ball touches the opposite long rail. It will add to the power to help OB moving further.

I have set up a contest here on onepocket.org for this shot. Any takers?

I showed Cuetables contest shot to a couple guys last night -- along with one other shot kind of like it (but less rails) and wouldn't you know it, Hail Mary, it went on the first try just like the diagram! Needless to say, I quit right then :)
I have to figure out how to video it -- and of course make it again under that pressure. Please anyone else who wants to give it a shot, go for it!
The other shot I showed was this:

The other shot I showed was this:
What are you doing with the 1-ball? Banking it two rails, and hitting the CB high right, so as to come three rails for the last 3 balls? Or are you 2 rail kicking at the 1-ball?
BTW, tried Wei's shot on a slow table, and it damn near went, so I see that it is definitely possible.

Hi Doc:
Steve's solution is on page 2. Use the page navigation arrows on the lower right rail. I believe Steve was trying to show us the set up first and the solution later which gives us room for some imagination.
Hi Steve:
What a great shot!, I wish I can try this out soon (unfortunately my pool room has closed its biz last week and it's hard for me to find a tight table now...)
Just in case you don't know this already. You can also take a screenshot and use Paint software to save a jpg on your computer and upload it.

The way I've been shooting lately, I would be lucky to get the 2,3,4 on the second one with perfect shape to start. :)
If the video is a problem, most digital cameras today have the capability of taking a short video. It should easily record enough to capture the entire shot. After that, there is http://video.google.com/ that you can use to upload the video. Hope this helps.

That's a good shot, much better than the other two. I use it myself, and it comes up pretty frequently. Bring your videocam to Louisville this month, and we'll get all these shots made on tape...

Hi Doc:
Most of the digital camera around 2-300 dollars can record videos now. Since this is just a single shot it will take less than 10 seconds of recording time.
You can also have one of the wiz kind in the pool hall to help you.
:)
