any of you play virtual pool 3 online?

hi..great site!!! my names dave, 24 from london uk. i have always been a fan of one pocket, after playing english pub 8 ball, then 9 ball (which i also really like) but the game i really like is one pocket. like most of you have said, it is the chess of the pool world, and i love strategic games. not that i'm very good at it.
i dont really shoot pool in real life, but i play a lot online, using the game virtual pool 3, which is an excellent pool simulation. you can play all the pool games, including one pocket, altho no one plays that, cos they think its boring.
anyways, i was just curious as to whether any people on here owned vp3 or played it online. we could set up some one pocket matches, or leagues. would be cool.

haven't played it, but i'd be curious to see what its like? is it a video game console hooked up to the net or a website? let me know as i spend most of my day on a computer anyway...

yeah, its a video game you buy for the pc. i think they just re-released it over there in the usa. you can play against the computer offline (altho the computer opponents dont know how to play one pocket.lol) and you can play it online through gamespy, which comes with the game. it is super realistic, the physics of the balls, and all the shots you can play. people on this site should track down the game..amazon still sell it. hope this helps. dave
