As some you know I collect custom cues. I would be interested in trading non-pool items for a custom cue. Being in the pawn and gun business I get a LOT of stuff, i.e. firearms (new, used, collectible), power tools (some still in box), pneumatic tools, jewelry, silver and gold coins, guitars (occassionally high end), PA equipment, electronics, nice fishing equip, etc. etc. If you have a cue I would be interested in and you have something in mind you would trade for let me know, if I don't have it now I might get it in later. I am not interested in any production maker cues unless very high end at a very good price. My favorite is Richard Black but also very interested in Scruggs, Hercek, Camelli, Hodges, Howard, TAD, or pretty much any true custom maker in the Blue Book. I would want to inspect the cue before any deal is made and will pay shipping to me and return if not interested. You are going to have to trust me, and you can. I have been in business 35 years next April. One does not last that long screwing people. I enjoy a very good reputation in the community. My word is my bond, if I tell you it is going to rain golf balls tomorrow you had better put on a hardhat before leaving the house. Seriouly, I am proud to have a repution of being an honest and upfront person and would not do anything to jeapordize that.
If you think you may have something that I may be interested in and are willing to make a fair trade send me a PM with your phone number and I will call on my nickle. If something I am very interested in I can put cash with merchandise. I will be upfront and say that I do expect the cue owner to put a value on it, please don't say "Whatcha gimme?". Hear that all the time. My response, "Everthing in this store is marked with a price, this is yours so put a price on it. If I can take it I will, if not no hard feelings." If you have a cue and we can't make a deal, I do not want there to be any hard feelings. I will also be upfront and say that I am not going to put out "top dollar" value. If I wanted to do that I could contact any one of several custom cue dealers. What I am looking for is a fair trade where we both are satisfied. Not out to "steal" but do want a good deal.
Think you may have something? Give a hollar!
