It seems like I usually see the two hundred range. Here is a view of the recent auction results on eBay, and you can see that the high priced auctions had no bidders.

I'm guessing someone here on OnePocket.org would be willing to make an offer if you are asking a reasonable amount...

I think I paid somewhere around 160 for mine but that was a couple of years ago.

If it would bring 800 I'd sell mine too.

$800 -

For $800 I send you both books, a $50 gift certificate to Papa Johns Pizza and an autographed picture of me!!

I do have a copy of both books and they are just sitting around and would certainly sell them - as a set. Both are in good shape. If anyone can tell me how to distinguish the 1st printing from the 2d printing-I'll check er out.

I got both WOP and SMAS for $50.00 apiece..:D

But, that was in Seattle, nearly 10 years ago...

I'll never give up my copies, either. Too much good info in those books you'll never find anywhere else.

Both books are First Edition. Both books are in good or excellent shape, no stains, dog ears or anything like that. In fact, I made book covers for them when I first bought them and have kept them on since then. I think $800 or even $600 is unrealistic - is $500 for both books out of line?

I remember when this book came out, Ed Kelly was at the pool room and talking about it and some editing errors that were in the first edition. Which leads me to 2 questions, first were there alot of errors making it difficult to read/use? I want too have a copy to learn from which edition should I buy? I'm not worried about the $$$. I assume its worth $$$ for the information it contains, as I remember everyone who had it loved it, thats correct?

For one thing, none of the fractional references printed properly (like 1/2 ball, etc.) That is the main problem with the first edition. Furthermore, there was more instructional material added for the second edition.

I bought the first editions when they first came out, and had not seen the second until about a year or so ago when I bought it (from Eddie Robin himself). I had not realized there was added instructional material besides the error corrections. Bottom line is if you want to learn the game, go for the second edition.

I remember when I saw the first edition, there was about 5 or 6 of us looking at it, i was at the back looking over sholders i remember the typo's and some pages got mixed up when they bound it so it wasnt in the correct order, I think, I dont remember 100%. I need to find a second edition,

I was a B player at one pocket 12 years ago. I learned alot from the rail, but any good 1p player could run me over. If I had an open shot game over, I shot better than I moved, moving foward to today I lost alot of what I knew, but I thinks its in there and can be woke up, so to speak.

if anyone knows where i can get a 2nd edition, i'm in. thanks.

books are sold - I have the second edition of Winning One Pocket signed by the author and Shots, Moves, and Strategies. I am willing to sell both for fair market value. I would like to see them go out as a set, but may consider selling them separately.

Both books are in mint condition for being read through. I placed covers on the books when I originally purchased them. All corners are in tact. Pages are white - no smudges or the like. I was very careful with these books, but am ready to pass them on to a new owner.

I can provide pictures if you like, but don't have any at this time. I will ship to you as requested. Please consider the shipping in any offer.

Please PM me with offers.

Thanks
