My son, who plays fairly good one-pocket {can't beat his old man--yet} suggested we play some 8-ball 1-hole today. It proved to be an interesting game. Whichever ball you make first determines whether you have solids or stripes. If you make one of yours in his hole, it comes back up. If the 8 is hanging, you can't scratch behind it. If you can't get it out you lose; or you should. I kind of enjoyed it, especially since I got to play with my son who doesn't get to play as much as he likes because of his job. He would probably be an A player if he had time to play. He ran 4 racks on a GC the other day.

Happy New Year all!
