Wish me luck, everyone. A major TV network is interested in one of my ideas. I sent off the proposal today. I'll let you know if it's good news. That's all I can say.

I sure hope this is the big break you've been waiting for and, I might add, you very much deserve. You've done much to support and promote pool, this not even taking into account your great exploits on the table and championships won! I look at guys like you, Freddy, Billy, etc. as genuine treasures. If it was up to me, great champions would be treated like royalty.

Whatever the outcome, know that you're already held in very high esteem.

You're a good man, Dick, with a heart of gold also. I think the world of you buddy! I'm sure some of your wisdom rubbed off and RA's better off after having spent that time with you.

Thank you, one and all for all the encouragement. I have a good feeling about this. The man I'm dealing with is excited and so am I. Just wish me luck. I'll need it.

I don't think it will be starring Grady. I'm sure that they would have a handsome stand-in protraying Grady. Maybe someone like Cosmo Kramer.
