How is the field filling up?
And are there any other qualifier tourneys planned for the US Open One Pocket? Besides this one:

Cornbread Red Memorial One-Pocket Tournament

Oct. 14-17th, 2004
$100 entry / race to 4 (possibly 3 on the losers side) $$$ Added money $$$

Plus winner gets entry, room and airfare to the U.S. Open One-Pocket in Las Vegas, Nov. 16-21st
Comp hotel rooms for the TWO farthest entries.
Comp hotel rooms for the TWO highest ranked WPBA Pro's that enter.

That is the only qualifier that I know of, however, the field is filling up nicely. Every day we have people signing up for either the 9-ball, 10-ball,one-pocket, or banks.

I encourage anyone that has any questions to call me at 866-USA-POOL or www.playbca.com (or my cell 812-987-1461)

Been real busy with the room but here are some changes for you:

Entry fee is $60......the added money is 25% of the entries plus the Vegas package.

Grady Mathews will be doing a show on Wednesday Oct. 13th @ 8pm, following the show we will do a player auction then do the draw for the tournament.

Tournament matches will start on Thursday Oct. 14th @ 2pm and we'll space them apart about 3hrs between and have times for all of them, I'll probably just use 8 tables so if there is a slow match we can just use a different table for the next round and not hold anyone up.

We are having a week long raffle..buck a ticket..and a percentage of the money will be donated to a couple of charities (Girls & Boys Town and Make a Wish), we will draw all prizes before the finals. You don't have to be present to win......so if you'd like to buy a couple of tickets send it to the pool room and I'll take care of it. If anyone would like to donate something for the raffle no matter how small we'd appreciate that also.

The reason I'm going to comp a couple of rooms for the ladies is there is a WPBA tournament in Windsor (across the river from us) and I figure if a couple got in it might make for a little excitement. There are a couple that play kinda sporty. I know they have a tournament in New Mexico the week after ours but I figure I'll put the offer out there.

NHSteve......thanks for the plugs, talk to ya later,

Steve
