Well Guy's, those of you who got to watch Lenny's live stream of my last two TV matches (Preacher Ron and Gus Briseno) I'm sure were very impressed, NOT! No excuses, I am just having a little trouble admitting where I'm at right now. Just 5 years ago, I was giving them both 9/7. Since that time, I have been idle, while they have both improved 2-3 balls, and I have lost 2 or 3 (or more).That equals, bad news for Dickie. No reflection on Gus, I figured him and Scott to finish 1-2 against a pretty solid field. Leil Gay also played very well in the DCT State Championship.
But, a ray of light. I have been having some really crappy vision problems. I can't play with my tri-focals on, and I can't see without them.
"Cross-side Larry" Maynard gave me his opthomolgists number for a new procedure. (not lasik)
Larry says he now sees better than when he was a kid.
I am having cataract sugury in Dec. and than we'll try the implant thingy.
Sooo, after I get my eyes fixed, and get my sciatica, and cervical disc fusion under control, I will once again be playing "perfect, mistake free", one pocket. ( I hope) :D

I'm glad to hear your positive attitude. If you get the results you are hoping for with your eyes, I'm sure you will feel like you have a new lease on life and the game will be fun again. It's hell trying to play with vision problems. Best of luck.

there used to be this old man at the Jointed Cue in Sac who's move was to grab the wrong cue, he would just grab what ever cue was near, house cue, some one elses cue, claiming he couldnt see the difference-he had his own cue, that was the move-he never missed when it counted. Since then I have never trusted the "Oh I cant see" move.
