Hi, guys! Well, I know this is a one-pocket forum, but I've gotta tell you about the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour event this coming weekend, beginning Saturday, October 9, through Sunday, October 10, at the Renaissance Billiard Club in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Last time I was there, which was in December of 2001, we had a blast. Ryan "Genie Man" McCreesh and Keith McCready got into a little captains game of one-pocket, of course, with Billy the Kid for a large one and ended up winning. Ryan may catch a ride up there with us this Friday, a 7-1/2-hour drive for us coming from D.C.
Most of the tournaments these days are 9-ball. Yet, after the tournament is over, EVERYBODY is playing one-pocket. :D I am sure this weekend will be no different, and there will be PLENTY of one-pocket action. Keith says he's getting splinters on his rear end and can't wait to get there!
Here a few pictures I took at the December 2001 Joss Tour tourney in Quincy:
