Hi, guys! Well, I know this is a one-pocket forum, but I've gotta tell you about the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour event this coming weekend, beginning Saturday, October 9, through Sunday, October 10, at the Renaissance Billiard Club in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Last time I was there, which was in December of 2001, we had a blast. Ryan "Genie Man" McCreesh and Keith McCready got into a little captains game of one-pocket, of course, with Billy the Kid for a large one and ended up winning. Ryan may catch a ride up there with us this Friday, a 7-1/2-hour drive for us coming from D.C.

Most of the tournaments these days are 9-ball. Yet, after the tournament is over, EVERYBODY is playing one-pocket. :D I am sure this weekend will be no different, and there will be PLENTY of one-pocket action. Keith says he's getting splinters on his rear end and can't wait to get there!

Here a few pictures I took at the December 2001 Joss Tour tourney in Quincy:

Just got back from Quincy, Massachusetts, where we had a grand time at the Joss Tour tournament. The $5,000-added event was attended by 51 shooters.

Mike Davis, who just came in second at the World Summit, was the defending champion from last year's Joss Tour stop at Quincy, and he held his title and won it again! Congratulations to Mike!

Thanks for the update, Jennie!
Looks like a great turnout and a good time!!
Obviously I didn't make it down -- wanted to, but had a little too much family obligations :)
