A guy from Austria posted this link... no more details. I know we got a history of Chicago here, can anyone provide some history of this place? I'm assuming by the quality of the pictures, these were probably taken in this decade.

Looks like the Mexican poolroom on 18th St. where Mexican Johnny, Pepe and Chi Chi used to play. I havent been in there in years.

CaliRed Yes I Use To go Thier With Mexican Johnny. He Didnt Life To Far from Thier. The Had Two Players That Would Gamble And They Also Liked Playing on Bar Tables. The both Played Pretty Good nine Ball. Ping Pong And Jessey The hun out thier and the were prety goog pool hustlers. Jesseys best game was nine ball. Thier Was Some Action In That pool Room. And Thier Was no Problem Playiing Thier. I Dont No About Know Or If THe pool room Is Even Thier Know. But It Was A Ok Place To Hustle If you Liked Some Action. I Played Both Players Eight Ball And I Would Not Play Nine Ball. And The Would not Play Any One pocket. Pink Pong Liked Playing Eight Ball on the Bar. But I Loved Playing eight ball. And eight ball Might have been My Strongest game. Especialy with the old rules. And The all loved Mexican Johnny in that pool room. Nobody wanted to play him. But I got some one pocket action and eight ball action. But Thats About all I can give you about that pool room.
