In the one-pocket division:
1. $5000 -- Marco Marquez to play either Mike Surber, Buddy Hall, or Ray
Martin.
2. $3000 -- Surber, Hall, or Martin
3. $2000 -- Mike Surber to play either Hall or Martin
4. $1500 -- Either Hall or Martin
5/6. $1000 -- Bill Blanda, Ike Runnels
7/8. $800 -- Wade Crane, Josh Hillard
9/12. $400 -- Tony Fargo, Gerald Reichle, Randy Epperson, Richie Richeson
13/16 $200 -- Jason Miller, Casey Killian, Dave Grossman, Lil John Macias
The big story is Ray "Cool Cat" Martin who is playing exceedingly well, especially considering his age (68?). His match with Runnels found Ray making shots from all over the table, as well as performing blistering safety play. The usually taciturn Runnels was heard to exclaim several times about Ray's turn, "Now THAT was a nice shot!"
The 4th place match will be played at noon Sunday, 3rd place at 2 P.M., and the finals at 4 P.M.
