Hey, Jungledude, you and Steve didn't play a set or two? Figured you guys would have. If you did, we gotta know the outcome.

I too am glad I got to meet you Steve. Curious, did you get a fair amount of reponse from your set up at the GCC?
Later, Pel

Hemi, Steve didn't even bring his cue! I'm pretty sure the reason for that was he didn't want to have to tangle with the Tampa Tubster.
I'll say one thing: Steve did one helluva job on his presentation to Grady for the One Pocket Hall Of Fame! He carefully gave a little history of one-pocket, then worked his way through the early players up to the present, then he introduced Grady. Very professional, although there were plenty of dry eyes in the house... :)
It's nice that the 1p.org got associated early on with mainstream pro one-pocket. A good marriage!
Merry Christmas,
Doc

I enjoyed meeting Steve as well. Just like a Japanese tourist in Central Florida, Steve doesn't go anywhere without his camera. I got so tired of asking Steve not to take my picture, that I finally had to admit that I was in the 'witless protection program'... Oy-Vey !
Art 'Gulfport Doc' Tripp beat me 3-1 and illuminated me from Grady's one-pocket tournament.
I hope that I draw him again NEXT YEAR. dammit !

I'll be loaded for bear again at the DCC, buddy -- with a major carbuncle ready to take a shot at any of you mega-chumps
((With my camera, that is))
Actually I will have my pool cue with me this time, and if a table is available, I'll take a crack at any of you -- for short money (but major bragging rights) :)

Pel, I would say I was very well received and indeed did get a nice statistical bump in OnePocket.org traffic from the whole thing. (My ubiquitous little postcards were hard to miss, doncha think...)
I didn't bring my cue because I knew I was arriving too late to play in anything but the 9-ball (I don't think so!!), and I was lugging a bit more gear than for my normal tourney trip.
I'm already signed up for the One Pocket at the DCC (but I'm also willing to take on any of you guys at Banks :) )

TY & GLI get the impression your natural habitat is a little farther up the food chain from my game, but that is kind of you to offer :)
Hell, I'll probably try a little anyway...
