Haven't seen any posts coming out of Vegas from Artie in awhile. I thought for sure we'd get some of his opinions re the HOF voting! I know that the Beard's dander has been up a little lately. Could he clandestinely have gone out to Vegas and thrown Artie down that flight of stairs like he always threatened to do??? Could Dick have sent him a virus??? Lou, you haven't done anything to Artie, have you???

I've noticed that too Doc. I actually miss his wit [sic] and wisdom [sic] However I have been migraine free of late.
I certainly hope nothing more serious than Carpo-tunnel has befallen him.

San <---sometimes wishes the Beard would get a slight case of C-T !.... I think he would miss harping at me, more than he misses his disabled "Johnson"..:D (which probably never worked too well anyway [sic] )

I've wondered the same thing. I came to the conclusion that after he went to TX and rumbled with John, then he introduced himself at AZB with both guns blazing and lost a bet there, I think he's been holed up in his house practicing 20 hours a day to get ready for DCC.

There, he plans on squeezing any takers to death and snapping off everyone in the process.

It's all a well laid out plan that has been in the making for 20 some years. It will go down as the best laid down hustle this century, bigger then the Vegas thing, with several well known conspiracist's involved in the whole thing.

A tell all book will follow, complete with secretly taped audio recordings. Unlike the balloon boy thingamajig, there will be no arrests.

Maybe.......

I intend to scan and post some photos of the "material" I got to work with throughout my younger days when Mr Johnson was a force to be reckoned with.

Rod,

You don't suppose Beardman will take advantage of modern computer sizing, do you. ? ( with the push of a button, any photo's scanned can be increased up to 400%)
Pick your dimensions Freddy... we KNOW you don't like to boast..;)

San <---always had to use the reducer function for believability.

I plead innocent (but no longer a virgin :-)

But, on the subject of Artie, here's an interesting passage from Grady's book that might help get him down from the attic:

"Artie Duseldorf (not sure of the spelling) was a great One Pocket player. He ended up owning Benzinger's at Diversy and Clark. Artie was a big sports bettor, a terrific (for the times) 3 cushion player an intelligent man. Artie was a slow deliberate player whose best strength was his remarkable ability to play safe. Artie hardly ever lost but I had already defeated him once at Cochran's in San Francisco. That match was contested on the 5'x10' table and I thought I was the best player in the world on the big table.

Now, though, we were in Artie's territory, not at Benzinger's but at Freddie 'The Beard's' upstairs after hours joint. We matched up a four ahead set for $4000. Monroe Brock and T.R. McIntosh were in with me. Buddy Hall was there (Monroe and TR loved Buddy) and he gave me moral support. You had to be careful in Chicago. They weren't above putting something in your drink and on some past occasions, a pool table had been altered overnight, changing completely the way it had played the day before.

Artie gets ahead of me 3 games and has me down - he's got 5 balls and I owe 3 and something happened. I'll never be sure exactly what but I come back, and some 30 hours later, I win the set. I am sometimes remembered for having missed two spot shots during this engagement. Remember it's not like 9 ball where maybe if I miss, I get lucky and leave my opponent safe. What I relish about this particular memory is that I made a great comeback under really adverse conditions against a guy who never lost."

It's quite possible Mr "Duseldorf" may have forgetten... he has allready defended his position on this subject, in at least a hundred or so, very heated posts. (most of that heat, directed at a guy with a beard)

However, If your post doesn't strike a nerve...nothing will ! Lou you are still the master excrement disturber, of all time..

CaliRed,

A very naive question from you... I would be willing to wager the Beardman has participated in several "menage a octo's" (8)

Which would include...2 chubby straight girls,(as in his photo)... 2 carpet muncher's, 1 chubby boy, 1 tranny, and 2 assorted animal's. (sex unknown).

He has a voracious sexual appatite. (or so he's said).

San <---will stick with Bubble's and Jen, for now.... if only in his dreams. (the past is another story..if memory serves me)

Presenting the older sister, Rebecca. The younger sister was Debbie, but her nickname was Peeps. Short for Little Bo Peep. I actually do have a reason for posting these pics, aside from embarassing and exciting SJD.

Freddy,

You must have had some real "game". And to think you took/kept photos from 40 years ago is hilarious. Reminds me of the famous Gene Simmons and his big book of all 5000 (or is it more?) groupies he....umm..dated..throughout his rock and roll career.

Actually, I started dating Debbie when I was 39. 39 til 50 +. I will leave out how old she was to start with.

I had a very good mid-life crisis

How much was it in the 60's to "date" Debbie?

Freddy, these pictures, have a certain je ne se qua...

Polaroid?

If so, I'm going to guess that there is a collection of somewhat more revealing (graphic) photos in your stash.

No?

Well Freddy you certainly had good taste in women despite what SJD says. You have to ignore him, he thinks Twiggy was obese. I do have one question though: What is the round black object (with yellow label) on the floor, to Rebeccas left. Is that a prototype for the frisbee? Or was this photo taken in Edisons lab? Please explain:) .

P.S. Maybe these pics of yours should be in the Members section so the great unwashed masses don't see them. There's always room there next to Marilyn, Traci and J.A.. Or in-between them.

Of course thats an LP, but on the left is obviously VHS tapes. I know you are trying to "date" these pics back to the 60s or earlier, so I will now fess up. I was laying a trap for the San Man, but he must have either smelled a rat or is turning over a new leaf of "niceness." I had intended to goad SJD into his usual debunking mode, where he would claim I got the pics out of a porn mag or something similar. Next, I was going to post a pic of me with Debbie. (As you should be able to note, I am not in my 20s or 30s) I had then anticipated more of his debunking, with him probably saying that the girl had posed as a favor, or some other snide remark. I was then going to apply the coup de gras pic of me with a witness that everybody knows, Joey Gold, backed up by forum members like Champagne and Race Track Phil who know those were my gals. Unfortunately, he didnt bite and my plan fell through. Oh well.

Beard

Great pic's Fred...Nice looking girl. I can see now she was quite young. (she still has her baby fat)

Its obvious you were quite a bit older (and also appear to be in a drug induced coma)

The young lady and Joey have very nice smiles. (did you forget to put your dentures in ?)

San <---is feeling generous with the comp's this morning.

PS.. Since when, have you EVER left even your vaguest "memorie's"...out of print ?
