View Full Version : Biloxi Mike or Mike Surber? Which would be a good name for a website domain?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond. :)

I like www.mikesurber.com , would be great to see this guy caught, I am getting worried he might escape but they have to have finger prints and if he is arrested they will take his prints and then they will get him that way.

I agree with Lenny Jam, I don't see a pool player nick-name adding anything to the cause. It may not appeal to the square apples, and we need their help too.

And mikesurber.com might get picked up more quickly by search engines...

I am going to purchase a website domain to seek justice for Mike Surber.
I refuse to sit back and do nothing, while this case goes cold. I won't let it go cold.
Steve Booth has created a wonderful memorial to this man on the main page of this website.
Together, we can all make a difference. Let's seek justice for one of our own.

I don't think I can set up a poll on this forum software. So please let me know which website domain name do you think would be best:
MikeSurber.com or BiloxiMike.com
That's a good idea, Jen. Please Email or PM me, and I'll be happy to split the cost with you. Would it be your plan to post on that website all the available information, and the known status of the investigation?
I had written AMW, and also all the pertinent state reps, along with our Congressional Rep., Gene Taylor. Two of the state reps have already phoned me to say that they have contacted the authorities. They believe that law enforcement is working hard on this case, and I think that's true.
One of Mike's friends, an attorney who also occasionally posts here, opined to me that-- if in fact the U.S. Marshals Service is involved in the case, then that means that the "person of interest" is either an escaped prisoner, or on probation. Evidently those are two of the only criteria which would cause that agency to be involved.
So if that agency is involved, along with the FBI, and assuming they have ample finger prints; then I've got to imagine that they know exactly who this guy is. His name is certainly not "Jericho Cooper", although he's used that name on several occasions while trying to pass stolen credit cards with that name on them.

Doc, don't worry about the cost right now. Let's just try to get it up and running quickly. The sooner, the better, I think. :p
Do you think I should go for a dot-com, a dot-info, a dot-org? They are all available.
I would go with a .com address. Also, possibly things like
justiceformike or justiceformikesurber
remembermike or remembermikesurber
things like that
or if it is to be used as a personal memorial type page after they catch the killer, then I like the mikesurber.com
the website looks great. on a lighter note you and keith should try out for dancing with the stars. great moves:)
Thanks to all who tried to help and for your kind contributions to make something happen positive.
