Here is the information you need to participate in the AZBilliards/OnePocket.org private room:

Time to start sending in the checks for the room.

Once again, Greg Sullivan is providing us with a room (same one as last year) with 2 tables that are available 24/7 to everyone that contributes.

The cost will be the same as always......$25.00. Make it out to Steve Lomako.

Send your check/money order for $25.00 to:

Now, would there be any interest in a quick One Ball One Pocket tournament among those signed up for the room? Something like a race to 2, single elimination? You can scratch/foul and owe one ball (so you would need two to win), but if you scratch/foul a second time, that would be loss of game (to to keep it quick). Wednesday might be a good day to do this -- as long as it could be worked around Jay Helfert's One Pocket ghost challenge.

I would get in.

Count me in as long as it doesn't interfere with the one-handed one pocket tournament.

Personally, I think that 1 ball One Pocket can be kinda boring, and one dimensional.

I think a much more interesting game, that has more dimensions to it, and more strategies, is 3 ball One Pocket....there's three balls on the table and both guys need 2 balls to win.

Yeah, you could start it like that.

I think here is a much more conventional version of 3 ball one pocket. We played a lot of it at Bensingers on the 5 x 10s. You break like regular 1 pocket and if hit perfectly you can make a ball on the break. A lot of banks, kicks and trick shot opportunities occur. Never more than 3 balls in play. Scratch, you owe one. Must make all the balls that you need to spot. Break just like regular, split the first two.
