NOW AVAILABLE IN THE COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE!
LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRTS ALSO NOW AVAILABLE!
A few forum members know, but not most, that I have a small business with my girlfriend, designing and printing graphic t-shirts..…that said…
For the last couple of years I’ve been planning on designing and producing a One Pocket t-shirt - because there‘s a million pool t-shirts out there, but no t-shirt for us One Pocket players…for two years now Steve Booth of one pocket.org has been asking me when the hell am I going to finally come up with the shirt…well, I finally stopped procrastinating and made the shirt….as for the shirt’s design >>>
Because I think (know) that One Pocket is the greatest game in the world, and because I so respect the skill and dedication that is required to study, learn, and play this game, I wanted the design of the t-shirt to be serious and structural, just like the game of One Pocket… no macho/lame graphics like a lot of the t-shirts out there, with flaming neon pool balls, or cartoon sharks holding bud light pool cues, etc…...the back of the shirt does however, have a little One Pocket boasting as to it’s exalted standing when compared to the other pool games (I'm sure I'll get some flaming from the 9ball, 3cush. and 14.1 players for my bias )…check out the pics…
As for the T-shirt itself, it is black with white graphics - printed on the front and the back as you can see in the pics….it is an American Apparel t-shirt, which is a high-end shirt - super soft, and costing at wholesale, almost twice as much as the Hanes, Gildan, or Fruit of the Loom type of tees that most pool t-shirts are printed on….I wasn’t going to dog it - gotta have the highest quality t-shirt for the highest quality game…...
The price of the short-sleeve T-shirts is $20 plus $5 flat-rate for shipping --- long-sleeve T-shirts are $25 plus $5 flat-rate for shipping --- the available sizes are: Medium - Large - XL - 2XL - 3XL --- pm me with any questions...
My paypal account/e-mail address is: ghosttown@inbox.com

Thanks Ghostie!
Is it just me or does the front graphic appear to have a blacker block then the shirt, or is that just the graphic posted? not on the shirt?
No onepocket.org on there? That would have been nice, so when people see it, it steers some more people to the site:D
Looks nice, do you have a website, we can go to to check out your business? I want to make sure your not using overseas help and working them 22 hours a day for 3.00.
I have a slightly warped McDermott, do you barter? also a frail ole goat, if your into that kind of thing too??????

I like the shirt too and will order one, I agree in small print on the back or something it could show the www.onepocket.org website, its a great site and needs to be promoted more. I personally have some plans to help promote this site the best I can via my OTR site. :)

Ghost, great T shirt. I noticed you used a "corners" table on the front. Nice touch. I'll mail my money in to you. Gotta have one, espically since it doesn't say "Empty out, sucker" or something similarly AZB on the back. :)

Glad you spotted it....so far, of all the people who have seen the shirt, you're only the second person, (my brother ghost, greyghost, was the other), who noticed (or mentioned it anyway) that the table graphic that I designed, features one of the rare old '2-pocket' One Pocket pool tables.

PS, Gotta say though, that I'm disappointed that I haven't gotten even a congratulations or "cool shirt", or "good job" posted on this thread, from so many of the other forum brothers here, for creating this shirt for One Pocket players...:(....
I mean after all, it's only the first and only One Pocket t-shirt ever made...
It was just a 'labor of love' for me...I probably won't make any money from it, and I don't care - I just wanted for there to be a One Pocket t-shirt, for myself, and other One Pocket players to have.

If you ever do muster up the courage to make another shirt, I would suggest changing the back to read something like "I played the Ghost, and all he left me with was this shirt..."

Now this is more like it - Larry, you da' man....
And when I get up on that podium at the H.O.F. Dinner, and start telling some of the hardship stories involved in the making of the shirt, like when Taiwan representatives approached me offering me a cheaper quality shirt and cheap sweatshirt workers prices, and I told them NO WAY, and to get lost, and when the printing equipment broke down and the furnace went out, and I had to work all through the nights doing everything by hand one at a time in the freezing cold, there won't be a dry eye in the house.....:D:D
- Ghosty
ghost your perseverance and sacrifice is overwhelming:D i would think that meeting jasper who i asume is your idol is a lifelong ambition .i'll try to get you tickets and a chance to meet him at his next appearance. for creating the first ever onepocket t-shirt with a table that only had 2 holes imust say YOU DA MAN. everything sjd pms me about you i dont beleive:)

Larry,
Actually, John and I have not known each other, close up and personal... for that long.(other then word of mouth)
We have a ton of mutual aquaintences, and were around the same people for a lot of years. We just never crossed swords. (that I can remember) I think we may have dodged each other.
I just feel a sort of kinship toward JH, and I know he is the kind of guy who will give me a fair shake,... in his on going battle against the evil empire..
I just hope he plays better this time..and I'm sure he will..:D

Papie......I'm so sorry - my bad....I forgot to give you a serious answer to your posted question about the shipping of your shirts, so here's your serious answer....
This past weekend I spent the money that you sent me for the two shirts (including Steve Booth's share  ) on two lap dances at the local 'gentlemans' club (the girls couldn't figure out what it meant when, at certain points during the dances I would grunt out the words - "thanks papie" :o )....and as for your missing shirts...well, I figured since you said you don't play anymore anyway or go to the poolroom, and I didn't think my shirts should just be seen on an old guy puttering around in his water-challenged, desert cactus garden....I instead sent your shirts to a real One Pocket player to wear at the poolroom....
I sent them to FANNY!....:D:p:D

Well, time is getting awfully short to order a One Pocket T-shirt before the DCC and the Hall of Fame dinner....most of the forum regulars have gotten a shirt - although a few haven't.......:(....
And I gotta say, that I'm really surprised and disappointed that other than about 12 of the regulars here, no other members of this site have ordered a shirt....
I mean this is a One Pocket site isn't it?...with hundreds and hundreds of forum members that supposedly love the game of One Pocket...but they don't want to wear a T-Shirt that represents and champions their game?......
Maybe I should have made a Bud Light/bangers T-Shirt instead and offered it over at azbilliards.......

I got the shirt yesterday, Ghoster, and I love it. I put it on and told my boys they could NOT borrow it. They replied, "Gee, Dad, who would want to!?" Just what I wanted to hear. It is now safely tucked away in my closet where it will assuredly be for the next weekly 9 ball tourament. :D

I had a girlfriend back in '92' that took a vacation to Colorado and brought me back a "Colorado" T-Shirt. I made certain that I wore it any time that U of M played Colorado in college football. Many guys in bars made snide comments but no one wanted to do anything about it.
Bottom line, wear the one-pocket shirt to the 9-ball tourney. Screw what anybody thinks.
I got my One-Pocket shirts today and I think they are very nice. I bought one for "Quad" as I figured that he'd let me keep robbing him if he was wearing a new shirt.

Thats because Michigan is known to be over-populated with wusse's. (present company excluded of course)...Try and wear a U of M shirt, on game day in Colorado...You will be asked politely, to remove it..or eat it. (no salt and pepper either).
I also rec'd the Ghost's 1P tee shirts today...They are nice quality...At present, I am using them as liner's for my two doggie's beds. They are very proud of them......They both play about a "hit 'n pick" better than the Beard's Dachsie's (probably the instructor)
Next time we visit Chicago, we will fumigate them, and wear them down to Red Shoe's Pool Room, and hustle 9 ball..;) (Hopefully Ghosty doesn't knock me)

It wasn't a team logo shirt, it just had the old, dried out steer skull on the front of it.
I did not mean to hijack Ghosty's shirt post anyway. I meant to say how nice his One-Pocket shirts were and how much I like it. I know "Quad" will like it too.

I got to the poolroom yesterday wearing my new shirt from Ghosty and I delivered "Quad" his shirt also. Another friend met me there and saw my shirt and said "I have a shirt just like that". I couldn't believe it. Apparently someone in another poolroom ordered one for him from the Ghost. I thought I'd be the first in my area to have a classic but nooooooooo:( .

But Ghostie's is better, and knowing someone here made it, adds even more meaning to it.

I am going to do a semi-plug for the Ghost by keeping this thread alive because I want to point out the guy sweating Effies game. He is Steve Ascher, a Helicopter warrior like our own Colonel Bille. He is a retired Army pool bug from the 160th Special Air Rgt. They are better know as the Night Stalkers, a deadly Spec Ops outfit formed after the Tehran hostage rescue fiasco. They are the folks that fly in the Delta, SEAL, and Special Forces teams.
They are all jump qualified and train alongside their Spec Ops pals.
Steve comes to Derby City every year and loves pool. Quiet guy. I knew him for two DCC's before he finally admitted that he had just left the 160th. (Got busted up in a jump)
As long as I am shilling for the Ghost I may as well shamelessly, also do some good for myself. Plus my competitive nature is unbounded.

NOW AVAILABLE IN THE COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE!
LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRTS ALSO NOW AVAILABLE!
A few forum members know, but not most, that I have a small business with my girlfriend, designing and printing graphic t-shirts…that said…
For the last couple of years I’ve been planning on designing and producing a One Pocket t-shirt - because there‘s a million pool t-shirts out there, but no t-shirt for us One Pocket players…for two years now Steve Booth of one pocket.org has been asking me when the hell am I going to finally come up with the shirt…well, I finally stopped procrastinating and made the shirt…....now as for the shirt’s design >>>
Black tees I might have in stock and would then ship next day...A tee in your color choice will have to be special ordered, and will take an extra week to recieve and ship.
The price of the short-sleeve T-shirts is $20 plus $5 flat-rate for shipping --- long-sleeve T-shirts are $23 plus $5 flat-rate for shipping --- the available sizes are: Medium - Large - XL - 2XL - 3XL --- pm me with any questions...
My paypal account/e-mail address is: ghosttown@inbox.com
Or, if you aren't registered with paypal, you can send me a money order, along with your mailing address to:

Well, there’s been a whole lot of new members that have joined the site in the past year who might not know about the One Pocket T-Shirt that I designed and have available to buy - so I’m posting this thread up again - if you're a One Pocket player you definitely oughta have one of these t-shirts...:)...
And for all of the long-time regulars on here who already have a short sleeve tee - I have long sleeve tees now also, for the winter…
I’m going to do a final printing of shirts in the next 2 weeks to bring to the DCC…so anybody who is going to the DCC and wants to get one - I will bring your shirt there to you, and then you’ll have no shipping charge to pay…
Pm me to order one.
Thanks much, Ghost
PS, And I hereby promise to put all monies realized in the next month from the sales of these t-shirts in action at the DCC - starting with playing Papie and John H....:)

Goast I think it would be a great Idea to make some tea shirts with butting a big number one under nieth the one pocket and under that worlds greatest game.
And on the back off the shirt under the ulyimite game put the one pocket table breacking the balls under neeth.
And the under rhe pool yable put one pocket. I think iy would look great. But its youre baby so do what you think is best.
And It realt would look great and it would say one pocket front and back. You could even put a white circle around the number one too make it stand out more.
One last thing on the one pocket tea shirt and the pool table on it. under the pool table you can even put the persons name and the the year. Its just a idea. But I can vizulize it ans I think it will add too the shirt.
But its a nice looking shirt and the white makes it stand out.
Shouldn't the One Pocket shirt have one pocket?

I think it should have two large pockets on the front, one for cigs, and one for BR...and maybe one on the side for cell phones...And I think like Artie said...you should have a number on each pocket. But I think it should be the number "0"...Because thats how much money you'll have when my lawyer gets through with you for unlawfully using my name for shameless self promotion...

I will say that I wore "The One-Pocket T-Shirt" yesterday and, after my usual miserable slow start, got into dead stroke (rare) and finished up a winner. However, I was NOT playing the legendary San Jose Dick nor the redoubtable Mr. John Henderson. So, take those facts for what they are worth. :D
