I thought that maybe some of you here on the forum might be interested in knowing about my good friend, Jeannie Vogelsang. Jeannie just came in 2nd in the ladies' 9-ball at Olathe this past weekend. She is a great player and has a serious commitment to pool. You might be able to see more at www.pool4u.com

Can you guess which forum member has schooled and coached her?

If I had your name I would choose E-Clare as a screen name...
Your Avatar makes up for it,that's the first time I've seen that.
Ghost coldn't have taught her, she runs out, but NOT through walls....

That's clever. I wish I would have thought of it.
No, it's not the illlustrious Ghost.

The winner is Steve :D Thanks to all of you who took part in this huge contest  Freddy the Beard is the correct answer. Jeannie is not only a fantastic player, but she is also a lovely person. I am trying to get her to join the forum. I think she would make a good contribution as well as learn from the top notch players. Freddy can tell you a lot more about her.

Jeannie plays a nice game, but so far she is just too nice a person. I am going to do my best to turn her into a scoundrel as the last chapter in her education.

I feel sorry for the ladies lack of proper pool schooling, but I'm sure you can easily teach her how to be a miserable, whiney cat..

Fred, was that a "half-ball hit or "full-ball"?

i see she only got second place. who did you say schooled her?

tell her to come over to the site where i expect she will get first next time after getting help here especially from san jose dick who gives in depth advice on the finer points of the game.

SJD couldnt help an old lady across the street. He would probably need a backer and a tech advisor to get that done. If he tried it in New York, I make him a 7 to 5 underdog to make it across by himself.

This,...from a guy who hobbles around on bad knee's, with a broke "Johnson" !.

PS..FREE lessons for the Ladies...However, Clare, tell her I would have to charge for "UNLEARNING" all the "wrong stuff" she learned in Chicago....That could take months...

Unfortunately, SJD, she suffers from a severe case of provincialism. But the right guy could change that !!!!

Does she, by chance, have warm handle-grips?
