Playing Quad Today

This layout came up playing a couple of hours ago. Quad is on the hill(he goes to 3) and I need to run 6 or no-count. What would you do? I had pocket 'B'. I'll show later what I did.

Given poor Quad's failing eyesight, I am assuming you did this. Moved the cue ball down, straight in on the 7...ran two balls, and then told him you were OUT...what an unconsciable thief...:cool:

I did give you credit, (on rare occasions) for shooting the right shot...I can now see, the odds of that occurring, are at best,...incalculable...:eek:

You are correct Senor, I also did not notice that you hit ball first. I was not playing very good and was probably a little snake-bit about getting stuck in the stack shooting the 10 ball either way. In the first two of three games I ran 6 and out and scratched on my game ball both games, which I then also lost. I got in stroke after a while but I was looking for something safe, certain and effective in this layout.

Joe,

There's nothing wrong with your shot but when needing 6 or no-count you'll find that it's best not to disturb balls that already go. I did not want the 11 coming off of the 10 and tying up any balls or messing them up.

I also was not playing very good, I scratched on my 6th ball twice, once in each of the first two games which I then lost. I've never scratched on my 6th ball before. This "going blind" and playing "every 3 weeks" stuff is highly overrated:eek: .
