Since thing have been slow, here's one of my opponents breaks from today. Please comment on return you would make.
Rod.
PS; I would guess most will do as I did.

I'd either come off the 2 and try to get behind the 13 or come off the 10 or whatever ball that is on top of the 2 and try to lay on the one.

I'm gonna roll the 11 ball out of the banking lane, leaving it near the 6, and leave the CB between the 1 and the 13. I don't quite have the nerve to try to take the CB to that little piece of rail between the 13 and the pocket. There's more to lose than to gain there. :o

you are in such deep sh--t here that i am going to try to find a way to make that 5 ball if possible or maybe rail first the 9 in and leave him tough.
maybe hit hard between the 3 and 7 and knock out his ball and send some my way while following the cue ball near his hole.
sometimes when in trouble you can sweep the whole table your way and might as well try it if you cant get out of the break.
id cross the 2 to my side and get behind the 13.thats my fist choice.
depending on how the 10 sat id look to see if i could bank the 2 into the stack, move a bunch of balls my way and stun the cue behind the 10 in a way making the 10-13 combo awkward. it still leaves his 13 in a bad place which will probably come to haunt me later so after looking at this shot id go back to my first choice.
if the play to leave him awkward behind on the 10 was doable would anybody shoot that shot leaving the 13 by his hole??

I like this one best because it deals with the 11, which will otherwise be a migraine on every shot to come.

Here's the layout and what I shot on page #2. I was going to try to get behind the 13 ball, but realized if I was short he would move balls to his side and I would be locked up. It'd be worse if I went long, so I shot the shot Vapros and PJ liked. ;)
Rod.
PS; Thanks to PJ for the advice on how to post this. :)

I corrected it for him Rod and installed the correct shot that EVERYBODY overlooked. This WEIing stuff is fun again. After tomorrow I have 7 days off and I plan on enlarging Skins brain tumor and shrinking the Ducks bankroll:) .
P.S. This shot must be hit with draw to park the rock behind the 1 ball, but that's obvious.

yea dennis thats the shot i would shoot. except i would have sent alot more balls into and in front of my hole. thanks for fixing up rods blunder. i would have done it but i cant even figure out how to read a wei table let alone adjust it.

on a somewhat serious i want to learn note would someone comment on the idea of moving alot of balls to my hole in spite of leaving the 13 where it is? thanks
please note its NOT my shot preference
dennis's shot is obviosly the shot of choice:rolleyes:

Larry, Thats my last option but I shoot it if nothing else seems doable. I try to hit it hard and move a lot of balls and maybe luck one. I try to draw to the end rail but sometimes a few balls go across and back.
Rod. < this was fun I think I have another photo. :)
PS, Wish I'd seen that shot Dennis. The game would've gone much faster.

There are more things that can go wrong than right with trying to get behind the 13. But I'm sure Yodi can park whitie there:eek:

thanks rod. pictures of the table after the break are great real life view when its your turn at the table. beats quibling abbout exact placement of the balls on the weii. with the real live pic as the refernce table someone can the weii it if they want to diagram thier shot.
p.s. i dont recall the name of the member who was looking for photos of breaks but if you are coming to the site why dont you post some??

I'd steal the fan off the stool and take it to my local pool-room!!...lol
Off the 4, behind the 13. No reason to try to move the 13, either side of it you leave a dangerous reply.

The computer pool simulator Virtual Pool 3 (http://www.celeris.com/games/vp3/overview.html) is great for making realistic-looking layouts in matching 3-D and overhead views. You can:
- setup, plan and play actual shots or series of shots (even whole games)
- adjust aim, english and force until the "tracking" display previews the desired result
- play the shot in realistic 3-D motion
- undo/rewind/replay shots at normal to very slow motion
- screencapture 3-D still shots with player and overhead views
Here's a break shot and 3 possible response shots just for example. VP3 is a little more complicated than the Wei Cuetable for capturing and posting the images, but it's quite a bit more convenient for generating the actual shots. It also has the advantage of being able to preview and actually shoot shots to see the outcome in 3-D and overhead

Oh good,...PJ has discovered an improvement over the WEI table. I shall play my heart out, and try to draw good lines.
Key words in his post are "adjust, aim, english and force until the tracking display previews the "DESIRED" results...I love It, PJ..
PS..my best "Golden Tee" (golf) score, is 23 under par, a smooth 49...Eat your heart out Tiger.(I routinely shoot in the low 50's)..
I shall strive to play even more perfect, at "virtual" one pocket... I predict I will never miss a shot, and all my safeties will be perfectly executed (I do get to draw the lines, don't I ???)...:D :D :D

At the risk of being overly sarcastic, (which I rarely do)...PJ, and about 4 other guys on here,... really need to get out more often...and play some REAL, live pool...:p (like Rodney, but even HE is getting on my nerves, with his camera phone...
Even my poor shut-in, incapacitated friend, Terry Ardeno, hits more live balls than some guy's who post here....

If Yukon Jack is $21.95 that makes my Jameson worth $34.95. Up here that crap you drink is $16 and change, you're getting robbed, but you're used to that:eek: .
Just talked to Quad and we're playing tomorrow. I haven't played since you and I played. He may win a game:) .
P.S. I'm off for 7 days Ducky so get used to seeing my posts.

Yes, these newfangled machines can used for evil, Dick, and we're lucky to have vigilant men like you on the alert. But VP3 isn't just for overimaginative pool wannabes (although we're grateful to have it); it can also illustrate shots that actually happen - the controls help to accurately recreate them.
Don't worry, they haven't figured out (yet) how win your money with it.

Because I have not hit a single ball in two weeks the Quad may get lucky and win a game. He plays the same all of the time but my higher end game needs to be fine-tuned like a Steinway piano, with a little practice every now & then.

Question PJ,... Almost every great shot that Efren or Jose has ever made, has allready been captured on accustat, (or somewhere)...Where is the burning desire to "re-create" it. ? Isn't the shot over ? Hasn't the game allready been played ?... BORING >>> Zzzzzzzzzzzz!

If I had to make a wild guess, I'd say you won't be any more artistic on VP3 than you ever were on the Wei table, Dick. My pool forum simulator, Virtual OnePocket.org, predicts it.
