Bill Goner

hey all,

Its been a while, but I'm still lurking around here. I had an interesting conversation last night with a man named Bill Goner (not sure of the spelling). We got to talking about pool and during the cab ride home I mentioned (and he knew, often personally) about every player in this area (Virginia/DC/Maryland) over the years. Evidently he ran with Seattle Sam for a while, knows Keith, Gus, Jim Byrd, and a bunch of others. I feel like I recognize Bill's name from somewhere as well...any of you know of him? Jenny perhaps?

He is Bill Garner. A fixture from the Westmont days. Nice enough guy- good for all the gamble he could afford. I have often wondered how he has gotten on in life. He also had a mild heart attack in the poolroom one night.

I owe him (not $!) big time for helping me recover from my own poor judgement. THANKS, BILL! GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE STILL WITH US!
