From what I've heard and seen lately, my understanding is the action is fairly weak--unless you consider $20 nine ball races to 7 "action.". One popular Valley room with nice equipment just closed. Hollywood Billiards is a very upscale room with great food and scenery, but the handful of times I've been there it didn't look like there was a whole lot going on action wise. Come to think of it, that would more or less describe how it is here in Southern California. In general, the higher priced action is more episodic than steady.
