I've just put up my interview with Bill Weenie Beenie Staton. Bill was one of the players we elected into the One Pocket Hall of Fame last November, and it was truly an honor to sit down and talk to him for this interview. He is one of the icons of our sport, whose competitive career spans from the fifties to the nineties. He has retired his cue stick, and now splits his time between Myrtle Beach SC and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He did suffer a stroke this spring, but is hanging in there, although 'not doing too well right now,' according to his wife.

Very entertaining interview.
I was curious, in the interview BW mentioned a guy named Titanic Thompson. Well, my grandfather was an oil driller in oklahoma and did some work for titanic. WHen he was done drilling he went to see TT to settle up, all and all he was owed about 18k. When he went to hotel to collect there was a big dice game going. Needless to say (gambling is in my genes) my grandfather was up about 25k when TT offered him a a double or nothing roll and my grandfather turned his 18k into 50k in about an hour. TT never complained and my grandfather did som more work for him in the late fifties early sixties. I was wondering if anyone has any more stories about TT?
