Question:

Did Brunswick make a 5x10 pool table after the Anniversary or are the 5x10 Gold Crowns actually American Snooker tables? I am curious. You do see the snooker tables from time to time ... I always thought by the late 40s just about everything went 9 foot. Thanks.

Don't forget the Centennial tables, all metal skirts.

Brunswick Gold Crowns came in 8ft, 9ft and 10ft POOL tables and they made 10ft and 12ft SNOOKER tables and 10ft billiard tables.

AMF (American Machine and Foundry) took over Brunswick (plus a bunch of other companies inc. Harley Davidson) and stuck their name on tables also for awhile.

I didn't forget the Centennial...I actually bid on a 5x10 centennial a few years back at an auction. A 10 foot gold crown 1/anniversary/centennial table would be the last table I would ever own. It is not likely to happen as these beasts are pretty rare and I will not likely sell my current table. The market for the big tables is pretty limited these days to one pocket and 14.1 purists neither of which have huge followings and I won't give my table away just to clear the space. I have seen several gold crown snooker tables being sold as pool tables throughout the years - which is why I asked the question. Thanks Steve.
