Pool halls in the loop

I will be in Chicago the second weekend of Febuary to eat at Berghoffs before it closes its doors for good (after a 100 some years). Staying at Palmer House; any decent pool halls in the loop or have they migrated to the burbs?

It's not in the Loop, but Chris' on Milwaukee is one of "the" poolhalls in Chicago to visit. The Grady Seasons scene in TCOM was filmed there.

Yeah, if you have time Chris's is the place to check out, especially if you're looking for a little one-pocket action, and the atmosphere is hard to beat too. Other pool halls closer to the downtown area maybe worth a look are City Pool Hall and G Cue Billiards.
