The "Action Room" has always been at the top of the escalator nearest the main entrance of the main floor tournament area. Several 1 P org guys likely to be in there almost anytime (unless there's a new layout this year for some reason.)

Oh wow, there are different rooms?

The last time I went was about 15-16 years ago and it was at a different venue. All of the tables were in the same big open room.

Sine the move to Harrah's Casino there have been tables in one room downstairs -- the main arena -- and 5 rooms upstairs (one or two years a sixth, but not the last couple of years.)

room rates

room rates

Does anybody know if there is a trick to get room rates cheaper. The promo code doesn't seem to work and a double is 189.00

Yes it was slim but he didn't say which hotel. .may want to check with him

There is a package for 9/10 days that is cheaper and that is probably what he's talking about.

There are some rooms in New Albany a few miles away that are cheaper but then you need a car.

I just got my room. 135.00 a night. Had to call it in. The online registration wouldn't accept the discount code. This was for three nights. I've got a place to stay in Louisville at my nephews house for any extra nights before or after the one pocket as needed. :)

Just a late starter.. Tom is good action. ..?...where is that pete?

Hey, Cal. How the hell are you. When are you coming to Florida? I haven't gone to DCC since I retired. I used to work DCC in as a business trip and so it didn't cost me much of anything. Different story now. All the best.

I think a few round-robin partners games consisting of those of us that play around the same speed would be a lot of fun...friendly games, say $30 a man, maybe with light sharking/needling allowed......:D...

For our group...it could consist of any 4 of the following: Ghost, John H. Frank, pilot Jim, Tom W. socal Jerry, and ?

- The One Holey Ghost

PS, And if Billy I. gets in, his team can give the opposing team 8-7...:)

your post
Larry....I always strive to operate within a reality check - particularly when asked my opinion, or when teaching...that said...

The strategies, moving intricacies, vision, and decision making in playing high level One Pocket is the only place where I have expertise/rarefied knowledge...
