I bought the early bird special from Pat F and watched nineball till I almost overdosed on it. The matches I enjoyed the most were definitely the ones that included Bill Incardona and his unique brand of commentary and instruction and humor. Those guys are really playing lights out these days. Archer, Strickland, Big Bubba Putnam, Shane V B, and Dennis Hatch really represented so well and congrats to Daz for the repeat. He was a godlike machine. Good job Barry B and Shannen and thanks for including the great singer Ms Springsteen. What a treat she was. I was trying to watch pool and baseball and football (How Bout Them Clemson Tigers?) and movies and listen to music and walk on the treadmill and do the message boards and chat rooms and talk on the phone and that didn't leave me but a few hours to scan porn and so yes I had my hand full............. By the way Bill. That was the 36th Open. Not the 26th. That's how the fellow with the headset had been in attendence for 30 years.....................Anyway I really enjoyed you and I know you can still play real good like Hopkins and Efren so keep on keeping on and never quit commentating OR playing OR playing arround. Later. Talladega is on and Ryan Newman just crashed............

Hey blues man. I'm not so young or strong but there is a lot going on at this time of the year. I have seen some fantastic pool this year. I know that and I don't see how some of those guys can improve much more. It's fun to see. I'm like Clare. I get nostalgic this time of year. Both of my parents use to sing a certain song at this time of the year. At the time I hated it and would be embarrassed but now I would give anything to hear them singing it one more time

I've Laid Around And Played Around This Old Town Too Long
Summer's Almost Gone And Winter's Coming On
Laid Around And Played Around This Old Town Too Long
And I Feel Like I Gotta Travel On

High Sheriff And Police Riding After Me, Riding After Me
They're Coming After Me.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

......is a keeper for sure.As I recall a folk group did it on the radio around 57-58?????This is surely the most nostalgic part of the year between now and the First......TIA,Bob

Grammer

Grammer

Billy Grammer had a hit with that song. No telling what he had to do to earn that name.
