If you start shooting this shoot and we are playing friendly, I will start making kissing sounds. If it is for third place at the DCC. Im begging for you to shoot it. Big pockets, sliding cloth, Kiss. But thats me.

I don't like the cluster of two balls by my pocket but at least they also don't bank for my opponent.

Reyes I think could kick a little more aggressively and go more towards his pocket with the kick, more specifically to try to break up those two balls a little, but it involves a little more aggressive angle on the kick, and the cue ball will squirt up and out a little -- how much, concerns me, but he might feel like he could control it. Maybe I even would a little later in the day with more coffee under my belt, lol.
I shoot this all the time but with a lithe speed to get my cue ball up table.

Who won, who won? I'm calling Billy to see if he remembers. I know he plays tight, then he tightens up.

Billy Palmer won this match, but Efren (who had been playing a litle rough for his speed) woke up and snapped the title off by beating Billy Palmer.

I like this shot also because.....

-it's a great chance to win the game,
              -easy to control whitey,
-high chance of cover if you don't make it,
-low chance of selling out if you don't make it.

and .......Efren hits this shot better than any player alive...

              Bernie.

You forgot this one: small possibility of hanging the ball in your opponent's pocket if you hit it rough or misjudge the slide!

Draw whitey towards one ball, play the bottom rail first and..bank....tit....the stripe two rails, it's makeable. Play all cue ball.

Opening up the two balls by my pocket is a priority for me your shot gets that done and also removes the ball close to your opponents pocket.

Heh, heh. Yes, Todd called it in post #5. Ole Doc concurred in post #6. Cardone never figured it out until post #10...

Jokes aside, most guys don't bother reading the posts that have already been made.

                            ~Doc

P.S. I actually prefer Rod's shot, with the proviso that the 12 banks across to break the 10-14 cluster. Efren must have expected a kiss. But I tried it at home-- and no kiss.
