rod the q went exactly where it was supposed to based on the spin ,speed etc. you hit it.
you just didnt know what you did:eek: :D :D :rolleyes:

I thought possibly the 10 ball would prevent a scratch and maybe I might knock the 10 across the table and block the 3 ball if I hung it up.

I thought you were going to say that you two railed the three and slid the cue ball over by the side pocket to one rail the ten ball. Seems less risky to me but if what you did worked then great.

Cut the 3, make the 10 in the side with the cueball. Spot the 10 and win the game!

That was a damn lucky shot Rod, usually the cueball goes here when I shoot it:D . (Pardon the snipe).

I'm always impressed when a player uses a spotted ball strategically in creative ways -- like this.

It's a subject that could use its own thread at some point...
