This is my post on AZ where Cowboy Dennis, SJD, and Lou Figueroa were posting about One Pocket Org:

To set the record a little straighter on the 3 regular posters who were banned from 1p org forum:

1. Cowboy Dennis - a good contributor at 1p org a lot of the time but a massive hater at other times reached a point of critical mass when he attacked Billy Incardona with a very hateful message. Billy drew a line in the sand either he was done or Cowboy went. Since Cowboy had a history of hating and Billy was a very well liked poster = Cowboy got booted off the island. (My guess is he would be welcomed back if he could get over whatever causes him to go off on people the way he would because a lot of people liked him and his contributions).

2. SJDinPhx - in 1 pocket Hall of Fame. Very knowledgeable one pocket player who would occasionally post very worthwhile information or stories. Most of the time spent hating. Was reduced to a separate section for Members Only where about his last 1,000 posts were to attack another poster who was reduced to Members Only (Mr3cushion). No matter what Mr3cushion posted SJD would attack. His obsession with pointing out everything wrong with this poster relentlessly and adding pretty much nothing else led to his ban.

3. Lou Figueroa - Occasionally interesting and informative posts, a good contributor on some occasions. Mostly into bashing, knocking and making nothing of people and their posts. Reached a point of critical mass in one of the most viewed and most posted threads ever on one pocket org (it was a sub thread because Lou had derailed the original thread). He bashed Billy Incardona, attacked Tom Wirth (one of the nicest guys and a one pocket author), attacked and bashed about 15 other posters, knocked the threads others like to post in and after his rampage which was the last straw in a long history of hating and knocking = he was finally gone. (This only covers the last portion of his history of hating, attacking and knocking).

If Cowboy Dennis and SJD came to their senses regarding their negative posting behavior and a vote was taken at 1 pocket org I do believe they would be welcomed back.

With Lou he has one close friend who would welcome him back and 1 poster
who could never believe anything bad about Lou (one poster commented that if he was a friend of Jeffrey Dahmer he would think Jeffrey just had an eating problem). Other than these 2 I don't know of anyone who misses Lou or would want him back.


Let me know if I got it pretty much right or if I should amend my post over there????

Finally, smile uncontrollably bc you found the solution to forum happiness...My buddy Scott Lee is stopping over tonight...I haven't told him this rule yet but he's not a lot to talk to me about AZB in my house, LOL. Good rule?

Did I say that about Jeffrey? It sounds like something I would say, however, if I did, it was just a joke. I feel as though any of the posters on One Pocket.Org who discovered someone who was murdering young boys like that, would really and truly pick up the phone and call it in, and no longer consider him a good friend, even if you might enjoy conversing with him. Some folks on a Board would do well to just avoid talking to certain other folks. They are like oil and water. Some pairs are worse however. They are like mixing Mentos Candy pieces into a Diet Coke, which was surprising to me. I saw it on Youtube...If we all just said to ourselves tonight that I will try to contribute a little more and criticize a little less, then things would smooth on out for a good Message Board to exchange info on, imo...

All three are intelligent oddballs that have super insight to our wonderful sport

Would like all three to behave, somewhat , and be able to start posting again

I mean, if you disagree with something or someone, let it go ... move on

How hard can it be to let someone else give their opinion no matter how much you may disagree or agree

We all love this beautiful and highly skilled sport ... despite the occasional brain fart

No need to change anything on my behalf, because what you said was "close enough for government work."

I recognize myself as "1 poster." No hard feelings about what you said, but to clarify, I spent a couple of weekend tournaments with Lou and he was a perfect gentleman. I didn't -- and don't -- know anything about the history that had the three of you that I recall hammering him during the time I was conversing on the subject. "Not believing anything bad" is close but just not accepting anything bad on its face would be closer to what I recall that I was thinking/feeling. I don't remember what it was -- and I don't want to retain details of this kind of stuff -- but one of the three hammerers (er... not you and not the moose ) said something that I identified as clearly non-factual. That made me think the thing had taken on the characteristics of a feeding frenzy. Once I get that impression, it's even harder for me to take at face value anything that's said. I didn't know the other two in the threesome who were most aggressive, but I've learned over time that I like both. If I had known then what I know now about the two of you, I'd have had a lot less to say.

I may have a screw loose. I always got along fine with Lou, Dick and Dennis, but I can't get along at all with you-know-who that was attacking Lou, who without knowing me at all, on the basis of one brief comment he misunderstood, called me a racist then and several times thereafter.

Way more response than called for, but once I get started...

BTW, I enjoyed Dick almost all the time and Dennis most of the time. Im glad that you suggested both would probably be welcomed back under the right circumstances.

I don't really know any of the 3 people. I was just lurking here while Cowboy was going off on Billy and appears to still be on that kick. I didn't even create an account here because of the negative posts by a couple of people. Lou, well his posts are annoying on AZB, so I don't care for him to be here either. SJD, I don't remember him on here as I haven't been here very long. He seems very bitter about his experience here. Was surprised to learn he is a HOF member. I don't know his history here but find it a bit sad that a HOF member is unwelcome.

Not sure what all the drama was about or what started it or who started what and don't really care. I don't even mind some drama from time to time. When a users only purpose is to create, instigate, or participate in drama, that is a turn off.

People do not get selectively banned. They earned it. They don't know where the line is.... or to simply keep things positive. Some are just looking for a problem

If i remember correctly it was onepockethacker who made the Jeffrey joke.

And of course there is a whole lot of good in the worst of us and a whole lot of bad in the best of us (and you often see it in one pocket games). All the sane ones can do is try to get better.

I shot the Chohan bank for the first time last week. It came up at an opportune time in a match and although I didn't make it I got a very good result that helped me to win a few hundred. It is even more effective and easier to execute going length of the table (to the side rail and top rail and back toward your pocket). I use this more often because it comes up more often.

It is kind of funny but I don't think I have ever taken anything on the forums very seriously even though some of my posts may give the impression that i do. It is very hard for me to dislike someone I barely know but I hate to see someone being hurtful to someone else for no justifiable reason. Even then I don't hate the person but just the fact they are being hurtful. I know it is impossible for some people to change even though they are hurting themselves more than anyone else. However, it is possible for 2 people to disagree completely over something or someone and yet still be totally cool with each other.

I look forward to meeting you someday also.

I would like to sign on with LSJohn on this. I do not keep track of "forum fights" close enough to offer insight of value on those.

I do miss those who have been banned. I look and participate less in this forum BECAUSE interesting people have been banned, and I cannot enjoy wwyd #109,789.

I know Lou in real life, and I count him as a friend. He should be allowed back in. I personally witnessed Steve and Lou talk at the last DCC, and of the instances that I saw, Lou was nothing but friendly despite having just been banned.

I don't know SJD in real life, but I suspect he is awesome.

The fact is: this forum was made poorer when Lou and SJD were banned. Even if, they were wrong at times--I am not admitting that they were because I don't think I know enough about these things--but why should any trespass be held against them forever?
