This thread covers nine pages so far. By going to the bottom of the first page I have the option of reviewing any of the first four pages, plus page nine. If I go to page four, at the bottom I can select any page I want. No such choices at the top of the page. Can't this be improved to at least the...

For sure, Jeff. Next time I see you (hopefully) I will buy you something in a tall frosty glass. Happy Birthday, pal.

Whitey, this sounds like you cannot make the opponent's winning ball and follow it into the pocket. Please clarify....

I say Football!
It’s seventy-nine degrees today in Baton Rouge, gasoline is $1.99/ gallon, and Louisiana is having a wet dream over the LSU Tigers and a baby-faced quarterback who will run the table against Georgia tomorrow in Atlanta and then get the Heisman Trophy two or three days...Last edited by vapros; 12-07-2019, 02:21 PM.

Yes, I think the print needs to be larger - and as an old sign painter I immediately noticed that the pale blue type does not show up well on the gray background. Not enough contrast. The gray background is just a bad choice. Even the black type suffers on it. Nothing goes good on gray - it's neither...

The rolls - both good and bad - come and go, and every player has his own definition of what a bad roll is. Sarcastic losing players like to say 'Nice roll!' in response to a good shot by an opponent. Aggressive players who shoot hard and move a lot of balls get the most rolls, both good and bad. Tony...

JRB obviously thought he could play some one-pocket. Could he?

Hendy is right on it, as usual. I would look at the 3 ball to see what is available and then I would do it.
Note to J.R.: see the Ghost about which way is down table.

Thanks, Kid, for your attention to my post. That's the shot I proposed, except that I intended to leave the cue ball near the side pocket, with the 5 ball blocking his view of the 13. I still like it.

If I go up-table with Jojo the 13 will be gone before I get back. So, I will bank the 7 to around the side pocket and send Jojo to the long rail where the 5 ball will protect the 13. The 5 won't bank.

Yes, indeed, Larry. Here's a place where you can always sign in and be among friends. I'm thankful.

I'm with Darmoose. Play off the 4 and send Jojo two rails back to where he is. No need to disturb the other three balls. I would sure hate to give up my seventh ball.

If I bank either the 9 or the 14, I'm not confident that I can navigate all that traffic to get Jojo safely up-table. However, I think I can bank the 12 toward the 1 and bank the 3 across to my side as I go up-table with Jojo. Some will find that too passive, but I like it. Does that make me a nit?
