Andy,
In my area around Baltimore it is pretty common to play 3 fouls, and I would say if unclarified, most would call three fouls when it happens. But, you must be warned before you commit the third foul or it doesn't count. So, you would have to have known before it happened that you...

CK,
Thanks for the response. I think most of us like to view threads (posts) in the "latest activity" mode. One of the things I detest about looking at AZ Billiards is that I have to go through all the pages to get to the latest post (that is probably fixable but I haven't even...

I still don't see #'s on the individual posts. Is it just me, is there something I need to do to get the #'s to show?

I agree with Ghost and others that find this rework of our site different, but fail to see it as improving anything. Ido not mean this to be critical of CK at all. I for one do not have a smart phone, I use a flip phone. This forum is made up of a lot of 60, 70, and 80 somethings that are more interested...

CK,
Don't mean to add to your problems, but, I miss the individual posts being numbered like they used to be. It is harder without a number to refer to, to direct ones attention to a particular post in a thread. Can you ad numbers to the posts?

OK, is there a way to lock onto seeing the latest posts first, so I don't have to flip the format every time I get on a thread?

CK,
Appreciate your talent and willingness to maintain this site. I find these changes to dark for my old eyes. I don't see that it is readily apparent when first looking at the forum that I can tell what threads have new posts. I am not likeg too much the emoji changes, nor the preview...Last edited by darmoose; 12-02-2019, 09:21 PM.

These posts are becoming more hilariouser and more hilariouserStop it,
I can't take it anymore.
I can't get up off the floor.
I got NO idea what I'd do here,
but, ooohh boy, do I love to play gophers that love to "fly" the CB around the table.

Looks to me like that dark ball (7 or 8) closest to you banks back to your hole. These type of banks reverse somewhat off the top rail, there is plenty of room to get by the 13 ball. CB goes up table and you can do some damage from there, maybe. Should you miss the bank you can stil put him in some...

Thank you Dr Bill for the comment, and I think you are exactimundo in your advice to avoid the potential scratch. We gotta take care of whitey. But, to be clear for those having difficulty determining their hole or whose shot it is and such, isn't the short rail up by the kitchen known as the "hea...

There is a pretty natural shot here that will move two balls toward your hole and allow you to focus on the CB not leaving a good shot for him. Hit the 4 ball on the left side into the right side of the 6 ball, sending both those balls toward your hole. Focus on playing the CB two rails back up int...

Of course you are correct, Larry. I was just addressing the rule as to when the game has started, Without regard to what else happened. In this instance the breaker went on to interfere with the path of the CB. I guess the argument could be made to give the opponent BIH behind the line, however, I ...

Not a great start, how humiliating. But, you are to be commended for sharing such an experience. On the other hand this post could get you plenty of action.
Occurs to me that your opponent must'a been some "grinder" to get you to dig a hole that deep before he ended the game. We all have...

of course the op game begins when the cb is struck. failure to hit the rack and get a ball to the rail is a foul. the incoming shooter has the cb where it lays unless it went into a hole, then he gets cb behind the line. the breaker is -1. you and opponent can agree to anything you want, and ...
