  • This is a very fair matchup IMO. Bogies is a great venue for this event and I assume they will play on one of the GC's in the main room. I don't think they can stream and have an audience if they played on that tough Diamond as there just isn't enough room to do both. JJ will again provide his expert...

Tom, I've had many bad rolls. There have been times when I took too much cash with me to the pool room and lost it all. There have been times I took too little cash with me and lost out on a good score because I couldn't cover the bet. Lastly, the worst bad roll was in I think 1978 or 9 when I was in...

Big Foot, Larry was a great player but in my mind not top tier certainly not in One Pocket. He could never beat players like Steve Cook, Bugs, Artie,Jersey Red.or many other top notch players. To your first question about his nickname, I'm not sure how he got that nickname.

Guys, so as I understand it the convention area is now a casino? I don't know if that's better or worse? Is that upstairs and downstairs?

I like John Henderson's two rail kick into the eight ball. Lots of good stuff could happen here. Now I know why T-Rex plays so well. He stole many a shot off San Gabriel John.

Get some heat on your opponent and one rail the thirteen and get the cueball up by the nine ball. You might make the thirteen and could have a stab at running some balls.

Keith (Young Squirrel), this is Jerry Matchin. It was fun talking old times with you outside Bogies during the Seniors Event in October. I remember well when we played right after you won the Johnson City Tournament and you came in to my poolroom and trounced me back around 71". You sure shot straight...

Interesting that the KO brothers use Southwest Cues with standard maple shafts. Their games are pretty sporty. Go figure?

  • Cut the eight ball thin towards the one ball (on its right side) and bring the cueball to the side rail where the eleven ball is resting. Make sure not to make the eight ball in the pocket either directly or off the one ball.

Bank the three ball into the ten ball and drag the cueball up table. Don't be afraid to pop it.
