Larry was a top 9ball player and an excellent straight pool player as well. He finished high in many 9ball tournaments playing against the best. He finished second to Sigel in the Last Call For Nine Ball in Atlantic City. All the best players played in that tournament and Larry played some great pool...

IMO there are only two strong options here banking the 10ball is one of them. The other option would be to bank the 3ball into the 12ball however, from the picture it looks like the cue ball is positioned a little high making this option not as strong as it could be if the cue ball was positioned 2"...

Ditto, I like this shot best moving balls and most importantly playing a good cue ball. Watch out for the scratch two rails in the corner, this can be remedied two ways either by playing your cue ball with a half tip of inside and going long to the diamond before the pocket or extreme outside English...

I would shoot and stick with a medium hard speed playing the 9ball into the outside of the 4ball in hopes to create positive action and steal the game My other choice would be to play the 9ball into the 4ball...

Good eye Jeff. This option is a little tricky but doable a higher percentage of the time then it appears to be because of the 15ball buffer that is there. The angle is not a natural angle which in turn creates problems with controlling the cue ball but the 15ball buffer tilts the scales to make it a...

For those who like kicking at the 3ball with a little speed are going up against it. Meaning that you can lose off the shot but can't win. The chances of selling out a simple cross corner return shot are better than putting your opponent in a trap. Agree? If so then if we are correct, then we learned...

  • Practice the two rail kick into the spotted balls from the angle that's left and also practice the same kick from different angles and learn how to win.
