Thanks, Bill, for the link. I agree. I clicked the You Tube link and found it to be a very informative instructional lesson regarding using spin only on a cue ball and spin with draw on a cue ball to get position on another shot. Going forward, I also looked at another of his instructional video lessons regarding what every one knows who plays pool at a proficient level and that is "how to make a ball." The instructor, "Sharivari," verbally and visually lays out a very easy to follow "preshot routine" which other players/instructors most often devote entire chapters to in their how-to-do instructional books. I suppose now that I seen the "Sharivari" video on "how to make a ball" that I should never miss a shot. But if I do, I can damn blame it on a tilted table, crooked ball, or getting jarred.
