How'd it happen?

I was curious too Petie, but no details were given on his FB page..I did notice from the picture, the damage is to the right hand, which is a good thing, because Scott plays pool left handed !

If all that extensive surgery were on his shooting hand, he could have had a very long, (if ever) road to complete recovery..Just forming a bridge, should be a piece of cake to adapt to.

You don't suppose he got his thumb broken do you? I thought those days were over. I had a guy reach for mine once. I had busted him in a 6-ball game and he offered to shake my hand. Big mistake for accepting. he grabbed my thumb and bent it toward me. Only sprained it before I luckily slipped out of his grip.

Larry; He appears to have been in some kind of accident, car, fell, fight, I don't know. I'm sure, in due time, some of his close friends from AZ. will fill everyone in. Hope he recovers from what ever the reason

I would recomend dr. Bill. He always wanted to operate on a wrist and a big deposit would be fine. :)

P.S. This isn't Facebook.

Wasn't he going to start dealing cards? for a living?

I don't really know what is going on, not on fb, but I certainly called that one would not last a fortnight. Maybe he is dealing though, what do i know.

Not necessarily directed at scott, but I swear there is a personality type, or disorder, of people who are constantly telling you all these amazing, life altering plans of what they are about to do, and how amazing it will all be. then, invariably, the next time you see them they are sitting on a couch with a 3.5 foot bong in front of them and doing the same exact thing they were before, if not worse.

Here are quotes from FB, all from Scott:

June 27th: Sorry to inform... Had a bad accident and need a pin and surgery ASAP. Heartbreaking as I've got a tour coming up with Efren Bata Reyes. (4 photos)

June 27th: Update... Not good. Broke my wrist at the joint and flying back to Phoenix right now. If anyone can connect me to a specialist that will let me make a big deposit let me know ASAP. Consequences: if I don't get the pin put in very soon it will begin to heal wrong and my pool bridge/game or career will be over This is not a joke. Thanks for the prayers but what I need is a top surgeon!

June 28th: Does anyone know any of these doctors in Arizona so my story can be told to them first??? I appreciate all the help, but what I need is "a foot in the door so to speak"...

June 30th: I would like to thank Mark Cantrill for going out of his way to help me see a surgeon. We haven't heard from the doc yet but it's a start.

I have a pin in my ankle. I was in car accident in my 20s. Before I had surgery to put in the pin, I had a cast on my leg for a long while. My ankle did not heal correctly, which required surgery long after the accident. They didn't think I needed a pin originally, but after it did not heal correctly, the doctor decided to insert the pin.

The ideal thing is for Scott to get medical treatment ASAP, but if it does not heal correctly, he can get corrective surgery later, but, of course, it is better to get it fixed now, if at all possible.

Prayers going out to Scott Frost that he receives treatment and heals back to normal soon. :)

Medical care without insurance in most of the states and counties is based on the ability to pay. That is/has been the case in the USA for quite some time. Now having said that, you may not get Speciality Care and it sounds like Scott will require some specialization surgery to get it right. He lives in Phoenix and the University of Arizona has a Medical School and Teaching Facility available to its citizenry. That's where I would recommend Scott go for his care.
