You just ran a couple of balls but got lousy on the 15. Your shot at pocket A. Anything you can think of to give yourself a chance? My game solution later (insert Ghost icon here).

Can you real gently squeeze into the pocket next to the 11-ball?

If I was absolutely sure I could make the 15 and hit the 12 I'd shoot that shot then deal with the 11 by following it in or jumping the table. If I wasn't dead sure I could do that I'd either shoot Steve's shot or just wham it and try to get lucky. He would probably make the 15 if you managed to scratch on it but He MIGHT not. Perhaps you could negotiate a deal.:)...oops! If you make the 15 it won't be there for him to cut in.

assuming we cant make the 15 or possibly get the 11 out of the hole. that is why the question is asked. then i bank the 12 and try to leave him behind the 8 and maybe safe (two way shot) with remote possibility since he will be straight on his ball if i miss he may follow it in. how's that?

If the 11 is too deep to knock out then I would probably try to make the 12 straight-back and go three rails with the rock, make the 11 and follow it in. It looks like it's as good as any other flyer I see.

I actually won the game from there. Unbelievable to me (and him!). It took executing a one-in-ten shot on my part followed by a brain fart on his. See the shot sequence in the WEI.

I had two choices. Go out with a whimper or try something. I looked at cutting the 15, Steve's shot, Dennis's shot (sans the cb circus :)) and beatle's (which I turned down because it was too complicated for me). I knew I personally wasn't going to get there with any of them.

So I just settled on trying to "reposition" the cb so he would have to kick at the 11, which was deep in the hole - maybe he'd miss the ball or scratch behind? I guess he thought the same and figured he had it in the bag anyway...and punted (shanked it is more like it). The rest is one of the better sequences of ol' Texas Skinny's short, un-illustrious 1p career. And boy did I need it yesterday because I took a thorough shellacing on Sunday from this same guy. :D

Skin, regardless of how your opponent handled your first shot it was nothing short of miraculous how you navigated through the rest of the rack. Great thinking and playing.

I thought about the shot and the best answer that I could come up with Is cut the 15 ball in the pocket and hit the 12 ball behind the line.

And scratch on the 11 ball and spot p two balls. THat is the best Thjat I can see.

And a little thinking and emagination thats what i came up with.In a horrable position.
