that equals 20 (10+10=20...:))
so since thats more than 16
how do the extra balls needed get spotted??

They could both spot 2 and go to 8.

One player could spot 1 and go to 9 while the other player could spot 3 and go to 7.

They do it however they decide.

This is another example of "game" balls being different than "owed" balls.

I think both going to 10 would give me an edge.

Actually I think you've got it figured pretty close. I think you'd still have an edge, but not a big one. That would be WAY better than my average match-up. :eek:
