has any one seen or done that???
it had to be legal since it was done in a tournament
would you let your opponent do it gambling???

For me, it's too hard to get the speed to freeze him on a rail with the shot he took.

I think the poster who said he may have been hooked from the 6 could be right.

I think grady's entire advantage and power he needed to exploit with this shot was a frozen cb to a rail.... his position was already strong.

I've never seen it in 50 years or more. I'll remember it though. It seems like a good tool. If anyone objects, I have a pool glove in my cue case for just such a shot. I do think everyone should get nitty about the towel touching the cue ball.

That didnt end up very strong for Grady.

Ya, I pictured the 10 ball ending up closer to the pocket and the cb blocked by the two balls on the rail. From here Jose has lots of options. One is to cut the two into the other ball on the rail (7?) at a half ball hit and try to keep whitie snug against the rail with low right. This will send both object balls toward his pocket.
