Here is the layout for a game I was in recently. We were racing to five and I had lost the first set. The ball is in my opponents hole and he needs one and the score on the set is 4/2 in his favor.

This shot pumped me up and knocked the wind out of the other player.

I got out from here in this game and won the next two games to break even.

Made me feel like a winner in this spot.

John,

I don't know how to make that table post up. If you still have it or want to post it again just press "Ctrl" and hold it down while you press "v". Do this after you click on the "pencil" icon above your post, and of course after you "copy layout URL" of the WEI table.

I'll try it, but if you can't do it Dennis, then I don't like my chances :) edit -- it looks like it worked...

Dennis, use Firefox as your browser to get the WEI to work like it used to.

I changed my browser to Firefox to make it work.

The cue ball was actually past the center of the table and I shot the ball in the pocket first, hitting it thin on the way in and double kissing the object ball and making it in my hole. The cue ball double kissed out for perfect shape to make the other two balls.

Really -- what a nice take out! Is there a way to pound on these so you increase your chance of sending it toward your hole? When I take a ball out, I have mainly been concerned with trying not to turn the cue ball loose but at the same time, trying to use enough speed so the ball leaves the area. Whatever I am doing doesn't seem to send the object ball sideways toward my hole...

It seems to work better on Diamonds, but I was playing on a Gold Crown IV with 4" pockets.

You fan the object ball very thin going in and it pinches the rail and the cue ball knocks it towards the pocket.

Would be interesting if someone could take a slowmo of this shot.

I told my opponent before the shot that I could get it over by my hole but I never expected to make it with perfect position.

Skin,

I just tried to download "Firefox" and it told me that my computer doesn't support this version of Firefox. It's only 1 1/2 years old (my computer Windows Vista 8). It gives me an option to download it anyway if I want to. I usually f@@ck up things like this. Give me some advice.
