Default Frost vs. Pagulayan 2011 US Open

Score is 7-5 in favor of Frost. It is Pagulayan's shot.

My question is whether Alex should remove the 10-ball from the side pocket immediately, or not?

If Alex leaves the 10-ball there, Scott will feel no pressure as he cannot lose in one inning.

I would play the 2 railer that looks dead first. Reason being, Scott can't make his winning shot unless I leave the 2 railer on the side rail.---Smitty

Yea, I'm shooting the 2 railer and it will be tough for him not to leave me a bank on the 7 after he shoots the ball away, if I don't make it.

You are both shooting at the wrong hole. But the "cant get out in one shot" concern is well founded. However, I dont see a safe way at this time to knock off that ball that is hanging in the side.

Alex has the left pocket labeled in red, even though the scoreboard makes it look like he has the right pocket

Ditto. And try to bring the cue ball back to about where it is now.

The two rail is the shot, I don't think there's an angle for shape but I'd try to put the CB on the rail and maybe get a cut shot if I was lucky enough to make the bank.

Since we've decided Alex has the red "Alex" pocket, I have to agree.
