Well, in fact all masses are "jump shots". In fact, pretty much every shot above slow speed is.

After-contact masse also works with follow.

...or with no follow or draw. With a little practice you can get the cue ball to go straight sideways (quite a ways!) from a straight-in shot without breaking a sweat - if the balls are pretty close together and close to the pocket.

....again, You got Me....I'm going to have to see to believe......

....I would think You have to have some lateral movement to....go sideways....are You sure You're not contacting the object ball a little off center.....and throwing it into the pocket....?.....

You can actually cut the OB (a little) the same direction the CB goes - that's what Mike Page's video demonstrated (with some draw too).

If a CB with masse can change direction 180 degrees without touching anything this little 90-degree trick with an OB "stopper" is a cakewalk.

Yes, that's true. Also, slower imparts more than faster.

yep, thats the vid I was thinking about.

However, years ago I had a lesson with Mark Wilson and he was showing me a cut shot with what he called "Pro Follow". I believe this was an overspin. It seemed to work when he hit it but I didnt get the same results

This Man is 75 years old, someone explain how the "change in direction" occurs in his masse shots!
