No score this game and it's your shot. What would you do?

I would bank the ball but wouldn't be rolling it because of the position of the 6ball. You can't afford not to position a ball on your side of the table because of the risk of leaving a free shot with the 6ball.

Bill,

Realizing that you've been having discussions with imbeciles for so long, I won't tease your miswrite. You don't have a "side" of the table...you are in the Banks forum.

would shooting the 2 ball in the corner and drawing back a little be a good shot? leaving the qb on the rail.

It is the only reasonable shot. However, you do not need to complicate the matter with draw. Just roll the 2 ball in and the cue ball will be on the rail and your oppo will have a very difficult time not leaving you a shot. Players that continue to look for these opportunities will continue to win at bank pool.

Funny you mentioned that, I did realize it right before reading your post but I did get the part right about leaving a free shot on the 6ball. Thanks for being so nice, you must be rested. Now i'll offer an opinion on the shot playing bank pool.

"Free shot?" A nine foot straight back from off of the cushion? With the cue ball headed for the 2 balls down table for some nice cross corners?

Here is how to look at this properly: Would you like to play, "the next bank wins the game, bank pool," from here? You would have the first shot at the money with the 6 ball straight back. Would there be any fear in your heart that you are going to leave me 2 foot cross corners if you miss?
