Hello guys,
I'm relatively new to this forum. I live across the pond here in London and this is essentially my first meaningful thread.
I've had some time to spare so I watched again all of my DVDs from Legends of One Pocket II Philadelphia style 1991 (the one that Steve Cook won), with a view to reconstructing the brackets from the commentary and my observations of the players on adjacent tables. I managed to identify all of the matches from the last 32 and up. However, it gets a lot harder for the earlier stages as the only match that appears to have been recorded from the qualifying rounds is Jersey Red v Bob Osborne. So here you go.
Apparently, Cecil, Efren, and a bunch of other great players bit to dust in the early stages of the tourney. I know that Strawberry lost to Dick Weaver in the first round but who beat Cecil and Efren? Does anyone know?
I hope you guys will find the thread useful as I couldn't find diddly-squat on this tourney elsewhere. I will try to do the same for the first LOP tourney (won by Allen Hopkins) some time next year.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Cheers,
Terry
