Lets get real guy's, from my experiences in gambling, and watching other players gamble the best pool that's being played are in games where the better player is spotting a lesser player. The psychological edge is a huge factor when it comes to gambling playing a game where skill is usually the deciding factor. Even though "mathematically" on paper the game is even it's not even in the mind of the inferior player (usually) There are certain players that play well being the underdog but they are few and imo much less than the players that are the more skilled. Players that are more skilled have the edge because imo again, there's going to be doubt in the lesser players mind that he's being out managed simply because he doesn't understand the game as well as the better player. That's just a part of the psychological edge the better player normally has. Jmo.

As for right now, I'd take opponent three as I'm financially challenged. more options and opportunity for pulling a move in that scenario. Sad but true...

Bill, don't you think a proper handicap addresses *both* skill and table management? I mean, theoretically the handicap is supposed to bridge the gulf and make it a fair game, right? Why else would the lesser player gamble? Or are you saying better players make games wiser than lesser players?

if a game, any game, is truly even, then no one has an advantage and cant change that. so it doesnt matter what the spot is, or who is better or smarter it is an even game and each game is 50, 50 who wins.

it is the same as explaining to someone the best way to bet on a coin flip. and telling them their way is wrong. all ways are exactly the same and also the same as not betting at all.
