Wade Crane's Memorial Service

I heard from Wade Crane's niece that the date has been set for a memorial service for him back home in Robbinsville, NC:

"To everyone wondering about a memorial for Wade Crane a Celebration of Life is being held on Feb. 20 on Wade's birthday. It will be held at 4PM at the Community Center on 196 Knight Street, Robbinsville, NC 28771. Please RSVP if you intend on coming to make sure that we have seating available (828-479-2083 or email to SissyNago@aol.com). The attire is comfortable casual wear."

Just a note -- Wade's niece passes along thanks for the "pass the hat" we did at the One Pocket HOF dinner -- about $1200 was collected in that hat for Wade's burial expenses!

To all of Wade's pool family (at the Derby City One Pocket Hall of Fame Dinner) thanks again for awesome gesture of opening your hearts and reaching into your pockets once "AGAIN". This was greatly appreciated and will go towards the expense of his monument. Without all you pool buddies this would not be possible. Wade surely has a big smile on his face right now. Much love and appreciation from his family.

That was nice of you to promote and follow through on, Steve. I imagine that nothing is so touching to the survivors as the presentation of a heart felt collection taken up by the deceased's friends.
