My opponent asked me the other night if he could use a jump cue on a shot. I mumbled a few words and he said he would just use his playing cue. He fired at the ball and clipped the ball he was jumping which sent the cueball flying off the table. With or without a jump cue, you'd better be good at jumping to use it in one pocket.

Why mention it ? if you're using your regular cue, no problem.
Jump cues are a problem with me. :eek:
I jump the edge of balls occasionally, I never ask permission.
