If I need 1 I am back cut banking that 10 once across.

If I need 2 I am shooting the 10 at the headrail a 1/2 diamond from the farthest corner.

Trying to leave whitey near the rail, all 3 balls in a line.

Well, why should I lie about it? If I need one I will drive the two stripes together gently. If I need them both I will shoot the same shot, but with more speed, to leave both playable in the upper right quadrant. In each case I will try to leave Jojo as near as possible to where he is now. In other words I will give my man a chance to make an error. Sometime he do.

I would just float the 10 into his long rail near the side pocket and try to get the 2 balls close together, with the 10 between me and the 12 ball.

I always liked three railing this ball to my side pocket if I need 1 and the combo if I need two trying to make both and freeze one the low rail

Chris, I like the 3 rail shot on the 10, especially if I can keep it off the long rail far enough that there is maybe only a tough 2 railer for my opponent when I leave the CB near his pocket, and I'd probably do it whether I need one or both, but I don't know what you mean about the combo and trying to make both balls. Can you give more detail about that shot?

If I need two, I really don't want to move that 10, so if there is room to kick one rail at the 12 off opp's long rail just before the side pocket ( 2-3 tips left) to catch about 1/3 of the 12, that's what I'd do. I'll probably leave a 3-railer but I don't think he can shoot it with my 10 where it is.

The cue ball is near my pocket, the 10-ball is close to my pocket, and the 12-ball is near the side pocket on my opponent's side of the table.

Question #1: WWID if I needed one ball.
Question #2: WWID if I needed two balls.

I do not have a shot capable of working successfully to my pocket with either object ball remaining on the table. Consequently, I would play defensively whether I needed one ball or two balls.

In reference to both posted questions, I would shoot the same shot. I would select to roll the 10-ball before the side pocket to bounce off the long rail by the 12-ball and attempt to get them as close together as possible. The provided photo of where the cue ball is in relation to the 10-ball appears in the execution of my shot on the 10-ball that I can move the cue ball approximately 10 inches up table that would nullify any viable three cushion bank on the 12-ball by my opponent. Yes, I'm grinding. I would expect that my opponent's next shot will be equally as oppressive, tedious, and seemingly without end as mine.

If I didnt like that type bank I would agree.

If I need 2 I wouldnt shoot the bank that I like because I dont like the shot I am left after I pocket the 10.
